Performer. Writer. Director. Creative.
Chloe makes socio-political physical theatre; She builds textured worlds which question the contradictions of human existence, exploring the nature of disgust and where we chose to place it. Her work is influenced by her experiences as a sex worker, the mental health system, counter-culture scenes and a personal allergy to authority.
As a practitioner she brings problems into the room and attempts to solve them with circus. Chloe is passionate in approaching physicality in a way which necessitates its presence. Discovering narratives through physical exploration of themes and academic theories, debasing the traditional heroics and approaching our circus bodies and equipment as physical tools of authentic expression.
She has worked professionally for the past 10 years, performing in various circus and physical theatre productions, and has successfully written, performed and toured two solo shows to some acclaim.
